Guess that's why Kris wasn't at presser.

Not sure I follow--you think Joseph is cut for space?

Even if Kris isn't on the team doesn't this signing put us over the limit?

I thought I read that Faverani had a buy out with his former team, I wonder how much we paid to sign him. I also wonder how many of the three years are guaranteed.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Don't see what Kris Joseph has to do with Faverani. We're over the roster limit regardless.

Yeah, just my guess. He wasn't even mentioned at all during the presser. They kept referring to the 4 Brooklyn players, not including him.

Without Faverani and Joseph, we're at 16. Which means pretty much nothing until rosters have to be finalized (17 at start of preseason, 15 at start of regular season, IIRC).

Let the countdown until the first eugen thread outlining a trade with the Kings begin ... now.

It doesn't have to be directly related, but it kinda makes sense as to why he wasn't even mentioned during the presser at all. They're starting the trimming of the fat.

It doesn't.  You don't have to cut Joseph to sign Faverani, and two more cuts will be needed before the start of the regular season regardless.

I am looking forward to seeing this guy play. I think he could give the team useful minutes this year. The Celtics currently have nobody with his size + bulk at the center position. Just from a physical standpoint, I think he'll offer the team something different and useful.

Really hope Pressey and Iverson are on the roster.  Not sure how this all works out.

We're at 17 without Joseph at this point. Randolph is on a non-guaranteed deal.

To me this means that we'll end up cutting two from the lot of Pressey, Iverson, Faverani, Randolph, and perhaps Bogans (depending on how his contract is structured).

I doubt Danny is done. It wouldn't surprise me if several guys come and go over the next couple of months.
