Among the players coming to Boston are Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries. However, CSNNE Celtics insider Sherrod Blakely has learned that the team may be looking to deal those two. Wallace has three years left on his contract, while Humphries has only one year left on his.

The Celtics currently have more players than they can keep on the active roster, thus the possibility of trades.

I think we'll be able to swing them when other teams get injuries to their 3 or 4.

Isn't Blakely just stating the obvious?

Man, I'd love to get from underneath Wallace's deal especially.

Blakely:

"Celtics looking to move two crappy players on big contracts"

REAL INSIDE INFORMATION RIGHT THERE!  BLAKELY DOES IT AGAIN!

Hopefully Danny is more than looking. Rather see young players with potential than these two.

Humphries is probably move able. But I doubt Wallace is going anywhere.

He's such a hack lol. Has he ever been right on anything that wasn't completely obvious or considered 'insider' information?

God I hope it's true though.

I agree. But Wallace use to be good. Even though moving him would be better, keeping him is that bad either. We have to put out something this season.

Nothing new and pointedly obvious.

Captain Obvious Blakely hahaha but is it just me but I'd much rather deal Wallace rather than Humphries.

We have to put out something but we also need to shoot for the lottery in our situation. Guys like these two bums will give us an extra 7-8 wins a year taking us from around a 20 win team to around a 30 win team.
That's the difference between a top 3 and top 12 pick.

I know in theory we could use Humphries and Wakllace had a career low year last season but i'd much rather get rid of Humphries.
I just don't like him which might be idiotic but there it is. Doesn't fit with the celtics imo.
Good thing irrationality is allowed in sports :).

Yes, because watching a 20 win team next season will be very enjoyable ???

I'd like to keep both guys. Wallace is a very good defender and Humphries can rebound.

I'd look to move Wallace ASAP...that is a terrible contract.  Any GM should always be looking to dump a contract like that.  Good luck moving Wallace though.

Humphries, I would hold on to for a little bit.  As the deadline approaches, if he is putting up decent numbers, contenders might be willing to give up a small asset.

Wallace should stay together with Bogans. I do not see a reason to trade Wallace
