Doc Rivers' departure? "I don't even watch that stuff. … I wasn't following it. … That's strange,

Sure sounds like he didn't know

You really think he didn't know?

He has an agent... and a TV and the internet I'm sure.

We don't have the actual question, right?

But to me it sounds like the question he was answering, regardless of how it was worded, was "how do you feel about the circumstances surrounding Doc's departure?"

It is preposterous to think that he didn't know about Doc's departure. Among other things his new coach already said he's spoken to every player on the team. I'm quite sure that the team did notify players about the change, and that players do talk to each other during the off-season. Bass surely has friends who would have asked him about this even if he tries to isolate himself. And, this was major news in the sports world.

In the classic words of my father-in-law, you are trying to make a whole chicken out of a feather here.

You should change the thread title IMO.

Of course he knew.

This looks like a classic case of,  "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"

Sounds like he wanted the press off his back. I would.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Does anyone know where to find a video of this?

The "I don't give a crap" kind of guy...I like this guy hahah.

Keep up the good work Bass. Whether you'll be in Celtics uniform or not next year, just keep it up!

of course he knew, the guy just doesn't want to say anything about it. I wouldn't be surprised if he's happy that Doc is gone. He lost his starting job to a rookie last year.

THIS

edit:
oh and he knows
he had a q&a on Twitter at some point, or either someone just tweeted him making fun of the depleted Celtics roster and he laughed. he's obviously just choosing not to say anything. sounds like he wants a little of his own attention lol

I've always liked his attitude. This makes me like him more.

Bass has been rock solid in playoffs, too. I hope we keep him around a while. It isn't going to affect whether we can sign an influential FA or not, and it'll give the young guys some time to round out.

Bass stinks. I don't like his game, his mustache, or the way he pretends not to know anything.  Go work on your post game slick!!!

How did you feel when KG said he didn't have Ray Allen's phone number?

Seriously. I'm pretty happy with how he handled this. As a relatively unknown player he gets a good chance to make some noise by opening his mouth but he refuses so strongly. Love it.

There are some Celtic players that get a free pass from me. Kg is on the list. :)

Why the surprise. He may not know what day it was/is. Give Pro's all the credit in the World but they are not Mensa candidates.
