After reaching an impasse with RFA Gerald Henderson, Charlotte's exploring sign-and-trade possibilities with multiple teams, sources tell Y

Any interest here for the Celtics?

I'd be interested only if Avery Bradley remains the starting SG.

Want.  I feel like a lot more people would know his name if he hadn't been stuck playing for freaking Charlotte for his entire career.

Not a star, but a rock-solid starter who helps you on both ends of the court.  I'd take that any day.

If there's anyone who would know his name, it's Celtic fans.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

With A.Bradley + C.Lee already here, I think it is the wrong time to move for another role player level two guard who will require a multi-year contract.

Not sure what his contract would look like. For the numbers he put up, I'm going to say about 7 mil/per sounds about right. Perhaps we could interest them in Lee or Bass?

I was thinking the same thing---since we traded his Dad for the Pick, that ended up being Len Bias----maybe some good would come out of trading FOR him...and KEEPING him-!
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

He plays very hard and I respect that a lot about his game.

If we can move any of Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, Marshon Brooks, or Jordan Crawford then absolutely.  Otherwise, as others have said, we have too much talent there already.

I don't want any of those 4 guys on the celtics roster.

Nice.  We traded the starting 2 off a title season for a pick why?

Because Danny Ainge emerged to fill the spot, just like McHale emerged to push out Max...

So if Ainge brings in GHJr. and we win a chip, then he gets shuttled out in one of Danny's deals...

One of the more interesting, "Twilight Zone"-type of "bring back" thread, eh?

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I think it would be smart to pick him up if you could get him cheap. I think Charlotte is a bad situation and that he has a lot to offer on the right team. He needs to work on his 3pt shot, but other than that he seems like an ideal backourt mate for Rondo.
