Dude, we aren't contending for 5 years anyway! Keeping KG and Pierce and adding Steamer and Barbosa is a contending team?!?!? Wow, that's a dream land. That's a 45 win team and a 1st round loss - no question. At best.

DA wants us to be a REAL contender again, not the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5yrs, pretending to be contenders because we're in the playoffs.

Jesus buddy welcome to professional sports. Your not going to be a contender every year in a salary capped league. Steamer wouldn't have made this team a contender. Is this team going to be mediocre to bad for a few years yes. But  that's life. Some times you need to get bad to be great again. Nothing worse than mediocre on the NBA.

we were going to lose to the knicks regardless. having rondo would have brought it to 6 or 7 games. kg was playing on cortisone shots

We are going to suck this year, no question.......hopefully all the way to the bank. Hopefully we suck enough to inflate Gerald Wallace's value, to DUMP his salary on a team that needs a "glue-guy". If we can accomplish this task, and end up with a top 3-5 pick in 2014, that is an absolute WIN for the future, which I am all for.

2014 with a top pick, plus the Nets/Hawks, plus 15-20 mil of cap space? Things could turn around mighty quick in 2014 if the chips fall properly. This will take some luck, and a lot of crappy, horrible 2013 basketball.
