you gotta get your list updated eugen, most of those guys agreed to contracts already. You also conveniently skipped quoting my statement that most of those big men are not worth the money they are asking.
you also don't know if a number of those guys are better than Faverani. Jermaine Oneal? Seriously? Johan Petro? Ryan Hollins? I'd much rather pay a small salary to a younger guy with some potential and see what he's got.
I do not know what to say more. Your "passion" to defend DA in any way possible makes you to find yourself in trouble using your words. If this players like
Aldrich, Cole
Biedrins, Andris
Blair, DeJuan
Brown, Kwame
Bynum, Andrew
Collins, Jason
Dalembert, Samuel
Diop, DeSagana
Gray, Aaron
Hollins, Ryan
Mohammed, Nazr
Mozgov, Timofey
O'Neal, Jermaine
Okafor, Emeka
Pekovic, Nikola
Petro, Johan
Przybilla, Joel
Sacre, Robert
Splitter, Tiago
Stiemsma, Greg
Turiaf, Ronny
are not better than Faverani, a normal center of Euroleague, thats mean that Eurolegue is much stronger league than NBA...
That is not a good argument. Half of the players on that list are too expensive. We have to remember that we're not aiming for the finals next year. Adding players (if even possible) like Okafor, Pekovic or Turiaf does not help us.
Yes we might win a few games more but those wins would be meaningless. I want to win as much games as we can, but only while developing talent that can be useful in the future. The other players on that list are more or less known quantities. What do we benefit from bringing those in? We're going through a rebuild now.
Doesn't matter if you like it or not, that's what is happening. And it's in times like these that we should take risks. See if this guy can play.
