Because I feel so  ;D
To get over all this trade talk.

Jared Sullinger: "Everybody counts us out, but we still have Rondo."

Doc Rivers on Rajon Rondo: “He’s the smartest player that I’ve ever coached. His basketball IQ is off the charts.”

Kobe Bryant on Rajon Rondo: "I love everything about him. Everything."

Kobe on Rondo: "I love his chippy-ness, his edge, his intellect, his know-it-all-ness. All of it. That’s what makes championship players.”

Kobe Bryant on Rajon Rondo: "What PG have you seen at his size that will get 18 asts, 17 rebs and 20 pts all in 1 game? That's unheard of."

Kobe Bryant on Rajon Rondo: "I love that kid. I always make a point of talking to him during All-Star Weekend. He's one of my favorites."

Jason Kidd: "There's no question Rondo is the best point guard. CP3 is great. D-Will is great, but Rondo is the best PG in the NBA."

LeBron James on how to prepare for Rajon Rondo: "You really can’t."

Celtics legend Bob Cousy on Rajon Rondo: "I’m out of the loop, but boy, unless he’s a serial killer on the side I wouldn’t let this kid go."

Bob Cousy on Rajon Rondo: “I don’t know where you’d find a better point guard.”

More Bob Cousy on Rajon Rondo: “Given his speed and quickness, I don’t think there’s anyone in the league that can guard him effectively."

Nate Archibald: 'If you look at all the great point guards who have worn the Celtics uniform, Rondo does more than any of us put together."

More Nate Archibald on Rajon Rondo: “They broke the mold when they made him. You won’t see another one like him in a long time.’’

Larry Bird on Rajon Rondo: “That kid is unbelievable. How in the hell can they think about trading him?"

Shaquille O'neal on Rajon Rondo: “Chris Paul is not better than Rajon Rondo. Rajon Rondo is the true definition of a point guard, period.”

Heat head coach Eric Spoelstra on defending Rajon Rondo: "He deserves the respect of multiple things. He’s that smart."

Lakers legend Magic Johnson: "I would say Rajon Rondo is the best all-around point guard we have in the league."

Magic Johnson: "Rondo is the best all-around. There’s nobody even close to him as far as all-around, he’s number one."

Man, what a thread.  Thank you.

It was unbelievable how much hate the guy had during the regular season when he was injured.  Then of course, the real truth came out in the playoffs

Looking forward to some "eff you" nationally televised Rondo games next year once he's healthy again.

Love it.  Rondo needs to be the guy we build around.  He may be a tough cookie but guys would LOVE playing with him.  Heck, based on these quotes, I'd say Kobe might be thinking of a 2014 signing with the Celtics if the Lakers can't hack it!  ;)

Lol, I remember this interview - everyone was talking about how the C's were better off without Rondo and Kobe was like, "oh yeah? Then send him to the Lakers."

I think the biggest testament to Rondo came when in the KG trade talks Ainge told Minny that if he had to include Rondo in the trade then it was off.

After seeing KG play in Boston I think Ainge really knew what he had. I just can't imagine that after watching him dominate the playoffs, and regular season too for that matter, that he's trading Rondo. That is unless he feels he can score a very high quality player now and one in the draft.

TP for THIS. I laughed in people's faces who argued the Celtics were better without Rondo.

In my opinion the Celtics turned into a regular season team without Rondo...a team rejoicing after every regular season  win. But that's not exactly the Celtics we've grown to love since the Big 3 came to be. Since the Big 3 we've been a "playoff team". A team where no matter what happens, everything will turn up and turn around during playoffs. That wasn't possible this year without Rondo.

The endings of each loss against the Knicks would've been much different with Rondo on the floor. After all, didn't JKidd not even score a point in that series?

TP. Sometimes we only live in the moment, and forget how good players are when they aren't playing.
