Fab said that he had not played a game since the last game in regular season. The coaches were saying he was working on his game very hard for the last month. He is getting his wind back after not playing for a while.
I saw the whole game twice. Fab was actually very good.
His rebounding really stood out. He wasn't boxing out consistently, but he did so on multiple occasions which lead to teammates grabbing rebounds. He also really grabbed a couple of rebounds outside of his area thanks to his length. Unlike last year, he also got back on defense instead of going after offensive boards.
His picks have improved tremendously. He was always looking to roll to the basket quickly last year, but he was getting guards free this year.
His passing looked solid. He wasn't trying to block everything for a change. He did not foul unnecessarily. He scored efficiently. Good things happened when he was on the floor. He made the whole team better. He played a very poised game.
