I know every one is complaining that KO fouled a lot in this game.

But none of those were when he was setting a screen!

Whens the last time we had a big that didn't foul on a screen in a game?! :P

I'll care about the fouls 3 or 4 years down the road. Again, we gotta let the young kids adapt to the league. Give these skilled big men 3/4 years, then judge.

I love the way goldilocks runs the floor already. Also, what does he do when he gets down there?? He immediately seals his man & looks for the rock. Rondo's gonna feed that boy easy buckets left & right. Loving the KO skill set

He will get blocked; but very impressed how he uses his body to keep the other player off balance. He and Sully will pair nicely. IVerson did not show much touch around the basket; but he is such a good athelete for his size maybe the Patriots could use him if we can't.

He'll get blocked some, draw some fouls, and 1 here & there....it's just great to see him run & boom, get immediate position & look to seal his man. Skills all around oozing off this kid

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

A 7 footer who knows how to position well in the NBA will seldom get blocked.
I like Marcus Smart

25 points in 25 minutes isn't good enough when playing in Boston, lol.

I thought he played perfectly within the flow of the game. If he had better guards at his side, he would've been even better.

Burke wil be fine. He would have a game like this at michigan every once in awhile. But even when he's not scoring, he makes an impact

I think one of the most impressive things was that Oly got those points in the flow of the game without dominating the ball.   25 points playing in the flow of the game is darn good.

Most of those fouls are a combination of him doing his job and him not getting respect from refs, which happens for most non-lottery rookies. Maybe 2 of those fouls are worthy of your contempt. Maybe.
The posturing is unnecessary here. Regardless of how those fouls are earned, the fact that he can't currently stay on the floor for extended minutes is a real issue. Perhaps this is going to get better, but until it does, sweeping it under the rug isn't doing anyone a favor.

Actually that a number of the fouls were 'rookie fouls' does matter--because he is no longer a rookie.
Right, except since there's no definition of what a "rookie foul" really is, so we're all left guessing. I, for one, remember a considerable amount of stupid and unnecessary fouls, which may or may not be rookie ones. You just can't tell.

Anyway, I'll take the Glen Davis comparison from several posts up, and I guess we'll see pretty soon.

Unlike Ojadipe who seems to need the ball in his hands to be effective.

Yeah 9p, 8r, 1b, 3/5 shooting, +6, 0 turnovers and only 3 fouls in 27 min.  No hope whatsoever  ::)

I only watched the 2nd and 4th quarters, but Melo looked absolutely terrible. Can someone who watched more of the game explain to me how he looked so feeble and yet managed to put up the best +/- on the team?

He was in position by luck of odd bounces and a few were decent plays. His hands around the rim are really really bad. Iverson was excellent on D and was practically pro wrestling with O quin out there. Fab was getting handled. Stats don't lie but they can mislead.

So what you're saying is that MAYBE Sullinger has stupid fouls. Why are you even continuing this argument?  You've backed up so much from your original harsh statement that you're just grasping for a way out :P

Nice point.  Also, it probably seems a bit like whiplash.  First Danny explained in two press conferences that he won't be a star, but as a complementary player he will get his teammates in position to score more.  Then he scores a third of his teams points--and everyone tells him to be more selfish and to shoot more.
