Guess not going to the Clippers...

Good for him. That's more than the Clips could pay, right? Landry always struck me as a great first big off the bench (sort of like Powe if the knees had held up).
Celtics fan for life.

So, did the Warriors really get any better this offseason now? They got Iguadala but lost Landry and Jack, who were both great for them last year. Iguadala is no superstar and will also take minutes away from Barnes, who showed flashes of being a star scorer late last season. Oh yea, they also lost Brandon Rush too.

Ha, didn't they have him a few years ago and he couldn't fit in?

What has changed? It is still pretty much the same team.

Last time C.Landry was there, they started J.Thompson (PF) and D.Cousins (C) up front and used Carl Landry as their main backup big man and bench scorer. I reckon it'll be the same again this time.

The Kings already had Patrick Patterson and Chuck Hayes on their bench behind J.Thompson and D.Cousins. They didn't need to go out and get a Carl Landry.

Waste of money.

Sacramento is definitely gonna trade one of their bigs. They have a huge hole at SF position.

Something like Jimmer + Thompson for Granger makes sense for both teams. Sacramento fills a hole at SF, Indy adds depth to their bench, which was their biggest issue last season.

Isn't that pretty close to Bass's contract?

I wonder what it would take to get Bass or Wallace to Golden State?

They are looking for a small forward. If G-Wallace plays well early in the season, a move at the trade deadline could work out.
