Perfect.  I'd prefer Drummond, but Monroe and Knight is fine too.

Good, now people can stop asking when Danny's gonna sign him haha. That's a good pickup for the Pistons though. JSmoov, Chrysler flipping their image, Eminem back on top...Detroit is coming around full circle lol.

If Joe Dumars can parlay the expiring contracts of Stuckey and Villanueva into some bench help, that Pistons roster could drastically improve.

Or, perhaps amnesty CV, and make another FA signing.

Knight
Singler
Josh Smith
Monroe
Drummond
bench: Caldwell-Pope, Siva, Jerebko, Mitchell

Might be spacing issues, but that is a monster frount court right there.

I'd be glad to take Drummond + Knight off their hands for Rondo.   If they want to throw in a couple expiring contracts and take Gerald Wallace off our hands, even better...

They could roll with:

PG - Rondo
SG - Pope
SF - Wallace
PF - Smith
C - Monroe

Nice lil playoff team.

Agh nooo ... terrible option to put at SF alongside G.Monroe (PF) and A.Drummond (C).

I don't think they can start Singler at the two. Not enough defensive quickness + not enough secondary ball-handling and playmaking for Brandon Knight on offense. Singler will need to move to a bench role.

But Singler should see a lot of time at SF if they use Josh Smith as a combo forward and give him a good chunk of his playing time at the PF slot alongside either G.Monroe or A.Drummond. Those will probably be Detroit's most effective lineups rather than their starting lineup with Josh Smith alongside both of them at the same time.

Stuckey is the best option on their roster to start at two guard but they really need more floor spacing from that two guard spot than Stuckey provides. If they could get that and slide Stuckey back into that Vinnie Johnson combo guard role off the bench, that would be great.

I doubt the rookie is ready for that responsibility (as important secondary ball-handler + playmaker as starting two guard). Probably have to bring someone in.

That team is going to have serious spacing issues.
If Detroit is still interested in the services of Rondo, I'd think Caldwell-Pope and Knight would be nice here. Take on Charlie V's deal, send out Lee in the deal.

If they are willing to deal one of their bigs, even better. Going forward, we're going to need someone who can score, and I've seen that in Caldwell-Pope's game.

while i would trade Rondo for one of their bigs (and a pick :P) i don't think the Pistons would bite. They already have spacing issues. I think they'd be hunting for a PG with a reliable jump shot.
