They sound like Cavs fans who swore LeBron would never win anything. When you have star players you have to make sure they are happy or they will leave. Going with D'Antoni was moronic and they are paying for it.

Hilarious... Here's hoping Dwight becomes a dominant superstar force again like he was in Orlando.  Maybe McHale can finally show him some post moves.

Bad news is that the Lakers will probably end up drafting Wiggins.

Good news is... how cool would it be if both Boston and the Lakers tanked this season... both landed franchise players in the 2014 draft... and we spent the next 15+ years as rivals again.

imagine if we get wiggins and they get parker. Would be an interesting twist in the rivalry between the most storied franchises

Howard's new contract, will probably have year to year Opt-Out options....so we'll have to go through this Crap every year.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Tell ya the truth, I think Golden State may have actually been a better fit for Howard.

A lineup of Curry, Thompson, Iguodala, Lee and Howard sounds pretty impressive.

I am assuming Golden State would've dealt Bogut and Barnes to the Lakers in a S/T?

Regardless, I am happy for Kevin McHale.

Me too -- disappointed Dwight Howard chose Houston over GSW.

Lakers shouldn't fret.  If they tank, Stern will make sure they get the #1 pick.

Stern will be retired by then.  Please update your conspiracy theories accordingly.

He just wants you to think that he's retiring so he can be offstage freezing the envelope for Adam Silver

Haha, maybe Stern will be like Putin and just be the puppetmaster behind the scenes for awhile, switch things up.

If Kobe comes back, I think he keeps them competitive enough to make the playoffs. Plus Lebron may not want to go to the Lakers.

With the 50/50 news:

Quote
Wow imagine how the rockets fan feel. Yes we have Dwight! [dang it] he changed his mind to 50/50!!!

Quote
Yes, he just landed in LA.

Quote
Honestly, to be fair, Dwight has not said anything. All this mess was created by the power of social media and the media.

Quote
I don't get why a decision hasn't been made yet. He's had all the time in the world to think this through and now the sources don't even know what's going on.

Quote
Gotta believe that Dwight may want lakers to take a chance on acquiring someone this year (via trade) and blow up 2014 plan

It'd be far better for us to get Wiggins and the Lakers get the 14th pick.  I'd feel some justice there.  tired of LA getting whatever superstar they want
