I never lost optimism until it was reported he was going to sign with Houston. What can we do, we rebuild and move on like we always have.

I think its a big mistake on Dwights part. He took a huge hit to his legacy with this one. He really must like being a big fish in a small pond. I had faith in him, looks like I was wrong.

tbh i was on the fence about keeping him anyways, the guy is a great defender but an even greater cancer. i do hate to think what happens this season though.

I'm the most disappointed in the Lakers FO. While everybody else was making moves, we were putting up billboards and photoshopping Dwight's face. But above all, the hiring of Mike D'Antoni will go down as one of the worst decisions this franchise has made.
 
I love the Lakers, and I will continue to watch next year when I have time. However, I really am crushed.

He's gone, but I believe more and more that the Lakers could've had Dwight stay here if they had made the right moves.
 
Dwight considered the Lakers a bit more because of the money too. If he felt like there were any chance he could thrive here at all, he would've stayed.

I'm not sure about the rest of the country but I think Howard is going to be pretty popular in Boston next year!

I'm a big fan of anybody that can crush the Lakers in one day.

That being said, you know the Lakers will probably win the Wiggins lottery and sign Lebron next summer, something they wouldn't be able to do if they kept Howard.
