Doc already got Redick and Dudley. Doubt he had a need for Mayo after that.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I'm assuming that they probably paid him a lot if they offered Monta Ellis $11 MM a year. My only hope is that he sours LARRY SANDERS! on the Bucks just in time for him to become a free agent when we have cap space.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Because when you can lock up a backup SG to a big money deal on a fringe playoff team, you do it.

Oh Bucks, the good news is that it does make you slightly more likely to be better this season than the C's for the 8th slot. And it can't be worse than starting Monta Ellis at SG.

Well, if there was ever a team that could replace the Atlanta Hawks as being the annual first round exit, it would be the Bucks.

It does strengthen their hold on that 8th seed.

PG - Jennings, Ish Smith
SG - OJ Mayo
SF - Mbah a Moute
PF - Ilyasova, J.Henson
C  - L.Sanders, Udoh

Still need to work on that depth though. Need some quality perimeter reserves.

Aren't the Bucks also offering Kyle Korver a 3 year/$20 mil contract?

Repeating the Monta Ellis problem ...

I don't blame them, hard time acquiring players and their young players about to get into their prime. They have to make a move, no matter which.

Plus, it puts them in a good position for a sign-and-trade opportunity with Monta.

So you repeat the Monta Ellis problem, but with a potential bonus.

Yeah that'd be the full MLE for 3 years right?

Korver will provide a nice contrast to Mbah a Moute at small forward. An elite shooter / floor spacer with limited defensive skills vs an elite defender/rebounder with limited offensive skills. Will function well alongside each other when Mbah a Moute plays PF minutes too.

Not worth the money they are offering to pay Korver but he would be a good fit there.
