And Milwaukee definitely got snowed here.

Milwaukee did ok for a sign-and-trade of a player who they wanted but who didn't want to be there.

I think JJ Redick is perfect for docs system adthe clippers.  Doc always had excellent sets to get ray the ball coming off screens just like coach k always did for JJ.  JJ has had a good career but never been on a team that has run proper sets for him IMO.  Doc will.  Good add by Doc.

Yeah. The Bucks were able to get two picks out of the deal when Reddick could have just walked for nothing. I'd say they actually did quite well in that regards.

Is Dudley going to start? But to be honest lol, clippers clearly wouldve been better off with KG and Pierce and picked up Korver from free agency.

With Doc, he will start at PF.

If Chris Paul wanted Doc in LA so badly, he should have to play PF.

It's not like Doc would object.   ;D

All should be fine since Doc actually has TWO whole NBA caliber big men to play, no leftovers from China or the D-league.

(Sorry, I just hate that whole Doc-loves-small-ball myth. Kendrick Perkins, Shaq, and Jermaine O'Neal are just a few bigs who would disagree with that)
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Clippers have room under hard cap to use full MLE, sign Barnes for $1.48 mil and fill roster with vet mins - if Matt/LAC open to that

Sounds like a plan.

Id say they're having a good offseason thus far. Who do they throw the MLE to? A Kaman Clippers reunion?

Paul
Redick/Crawford
Dudley/Barnes
Griffin
Jordan/Kaman

I see that as being a good team but I still dont see it as a legit contender to the Heat. I see OKC, SAS, Chicago, Memphis, Indiana, Houston if they get Howard, maybe even GSW and the Nets as all teams ahead of the Clippers.

Ira Winderman: Caron Butler at $8M per each of next two seasons, might make a buyout tough. Tough way to potentially end a career

This is big time false isn't it? Butler's is most definitely an expiring, no?

Am I the only one that thinks this is a bad deal for the clippers?
I understand that these players may fit Docs philosophy better, but
Bledsoe>Reddick
Butler>Dudley

Clippers lose a lot of athleticism, their primary back up PG and gain....floor spacing from two bench players?

I think they should have done Butler for Reddick and traded Bledsoe for a better prize.

Oh we'll, happy for JJ and duds.

PS where does Bledsoe fit in with Dragic? Is Bledsoe just trade bait?

Also Jared Dudley netted the suns Bledsoe and Butler, but KG only gets you Jordan? Kind of jealous of the Suns.
Truuuuuuuuuth!

There is no way Butler is better than Dudley at this stage in their careers. Bledsoe and Redick are closer than you think. Redick can step in as CP3's backup PG; many people overlook Redick's truly impressive improvements in playmaking and defense.

I always thought JJ would be a good fit here in Ray's role or even off the bench.  I think this is a great deal for LA.  Sucks for the C's though.  That draft picks gonna be late in first round.

In retrospect, if Dudley and two second rounders was all it took for Phoenix, I'm not sure why we couldn't have offered a similar package centered around Lee.

Because Lee is a far inferior player. Not nearly as good a defender or 3pt shooter as Dudley, and not as smart of a player either

I was playing along with Chief, who hated Doc's small ball.
