The "klynyk", love it, that's what I'm going with as long as the guy is a Celtic. TP.
I thought I read last year where Sully was actually one of our best defensive players and ranked almost as high as KG when he was on the floor - mostly because he knew how to rotate and position himself. I could swear I read that somewhere.
Anyway though, I do agree as not seeing that combo as a defensive juggernaut. But in time and they mature I think the two of them with Rondo could pick people apart on offense. If they become passable on D that would suffice.
And both might end up as backups, who knows...but I like the contrasting skills sets of the two of them on offense.
I hope we see a lot more of Sully in the post - with the Klynyk spreading the floor a little for him with his outside shot.
Lastly, the klynyk reminds me a little of McHale on offense. I'm not saying he has McHale level talent at all (don't want to get roasted...). But he has a lot of herky jerky, left, right, over under stuff as he's trying to get his shot off in the paint.
I think he could end up surprising us on offense when he's is not such a focus of the defense as he was at Gonzaga.
