Ainge sees Oly as a stretch four.

He also talked about how well he thinks Olynyk will work with Sullinger, so I think he already expects one of them to play the 5 a bit.

Here's a quote from Ainge today where he says Olynyk will play center and PF:

""We think he can be a 260-pound, 7-foot guy and be a great, well-conditioned player that can play some center as well, especially as small as the league has gotten, Ainge said, "and to have a guy that can play the (power forward) and (center) and step outside and shoot the 3-ball and make passes from the perimeter and a great complimentary player."

From what ainge has been saying he envisions olynyk as a pf. Given his offense and shooting he can definately play away from the basket. he can shoot the 3 very well...if his pre-draft practice in Utah is an indicator.

If olynyk can draw the opposing pf away from the basket, sully might be able to score from close to the basket. He is not tall, but does seem to play tough and score down low.

I don't know if ainge is correct, but I can see the celtics develop a good inside-outside game with those two.

Plus, olynyk might excellent at the pick and roll.

Final point....what is olynyk's nickname going to be?  Olly? :)

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The first time he hits a game-winner from downtown, will people refer to it as a three-K-O?

Sounds like 2 out of 3 of a 3 men PF/C rotation.

Who would you add?
Big Al
Be nice to add a defensive big that can rebound, not sure who that would be.

Both Olynyk and Sullinger were both at one time in te college career, arguably *PLAYING* as the best player in College basketball. Leading their team as was being looked upon as a great college basketball player. Now im not saying either of them will be superstars, but both can be vital parts on a winning team and Danny Knows this, great two draft picks just as Glen Davis and many others were. I really do like Olynyk with Rondo.

This may sound petty, but I really want to see him lose the 'do.  It's always been a pet peeve of mine when players have hair that's bigger than their game.  I'm not saying that I think Kelly will be a dud, but prove it first.  If you have a good rookie campaign and light the world on fire, then by all means grow it back for you sophomore season, but for now get rid of those golden locks.
