Doesn't make a lot of sense to me to pay Evans 12 mil/per to be a sixth man. Unless of course your name is Ben Gordon, and the team is the Bobcats.

Anderson is not an all-star caliber player.

Available at the trade deadline, Feb 2014:

Tyreke Evans.

This has all the makings of one of the annual "sign and on the block" contracts.

Or, unless your starting SG is expected to play around 6 games before blowing out his knee again.

I'm kidding, sort of. I do agree that hanging on to Evans and Gordon would be a weird way to spend scarce cap room. They may give it half a season, and then deal Gordon if he plays well enough to have value.

I like Evans a lot. I wish the C's could have him opposite Rondo (but I sure as heck won't pay 12 million per year for him). I swear I don't understand the decision making from half of these teams.

I agree. If we are going to pay that much, may as well pay a bit more and spend that money on Josh Smith instead, even though I think he's not worth it either.

Posted this in the other Tyreke thread but felt it needs to be mentioned again:
