Obviously keep Rondo out as long as possible and the same goes for Sully. Beyond that I think we should force-feed our young guys minutes and let them learn through making tons of mistakes in the games.
Olynyk, Melo, Sully, Brooks, Crawford, Williams, Randolph, Iverson and whoever else we pick up should be getting serious minutes. Basically trot out the Boston Celtics' D-league affiliate and hope that some of those guys show promise/develop as guys who can be useful going forward.
The big thing is that we need to move anyone who is keeping us afloat if we are truly going for a major tankjob. That means if Green is playing great basketball to start the season, we need to move him. If Bradley is suddenly playing offense AND defense, he needs to be traded. If Rondo comes back and shows he can carry this team, he needs to be traded.
Ideally those guys will play well, but not have enough around them to win games, but if they start to win games they need to be traded. It makes no sense to end up as an 8th seed or at the back end of the lottery. We move them and collect future picks/assets and hope the lottery treats us well.
