I'm an advocate for best available almost always anyways but especially in this mode. You can't base your pick on how they will fit in with Bass.I hear what you're saying, which is why I think Olynyk isn't the biggest loss in the world. He's still a useful young asset. However, I disagree with your statement that he's the best player available. I count three guys with higher ceilings; of course, they aren't a sure-thing like Olynyk and might not pan out. However, I count another guy who I can almost guarantee will have a better career than Olynyk, Sergey Karasev. He already has international experience, he's NBA ready, and is a tremendous offensive player. Like Olynyk, his weakness is defense, but his is no where near as bad, and he actually has potential to improve.

Wimpy Olynyk was terrible in the NCAA tournament...couldn't play with the big boys

Underrated tough (this guy played hockey). He's not the rim protector I understand, but he's very skilled.I like it.Nah I like it too. We're talking about a 7 footer here with a lot of upside. We haven't had a good center in awhile. This could turn out well.I'm gonna trust DA and the scouts over a bunch of disgruntled fans who think this guy sucks.

If the KG trade goes through they'll have 8 1st rounders in the next 4 years. Do people really think those 2nd rounders will make a difference?
Gonzaga got bounced out of tournament early...they had a pretty soft schedule...his stats were from a 16th seed and who else?If his shooting is no good...what is there?
I definitely picked the wrong week to give up sniffing glue
