Hes a great defensive assistant, always yelling at players to get into defensive positions and rotations

We could have done worse that signing Opie to be our next head coach.  Seems like a guy that would be a good for a young, developing roster (and given his failure in Detroit, probably would have come fairly cheap).

Hadn't really thought about it, but it'd be weird for KG and Pierce I'm sure to be coached by their contemporary in Kidd.
