I wouldn't even want to waste the guaranteed dollars that come with a 1st round pick, with the junk in this draft.

There are actually some nice players to be had in the 2nd round though.  Not future all-stars, but solid starters/role players.  Get a couple of early 2nd round picks and call it a day.

I think Dieng is the next great defensive anchor in the league. Overlooked and underrated. Has a decent midrange jumper too. If he can keep getting stronger he will be a definite threat to anyone coming in the paint.

I like him much better than fabio.

Most people actually say this is starless draft...as for depth Chad Ford thinks its full of role players from 5-35 meaning it does have depth.   Not ideal obviously, but it means we can gather some assets if we do a good job.

What are people's thoughts on Jamaal Franklin?  I can't decide if I like him or not.  He seems to have a ton of positives, but I'm always leery of wings that can't shoot.
