If I'm the Wolves, I'm letting Love play out this season to rebuild his trade value, if the mindset is that I'm trading him.

If I'm the Wolves, I also fire my entire medical staff. Their injury problems last year were ridiculous.

I think the Cavs have something like 24 million in cap space.  Thompson and Waiters make 8 mil... Love makes 14 mil.  They would still have enough cap space to absorb Paul Pierce's contract... and I gotta think the idea of Pierce joining a team with Irving and Kevin Love would be appealing for Paul.  That would give them a fine little team had they done it...

Irving, Pierce, Love, Varejao.  Next year, Pierce would come off the books and they could add LeBron.

But I guess that got nixed with the Wolves rejecting it.

I don't see LeBron heading to the Cavs in 2014.

Could happen.  If Miami has a disappointing year and Wade regresses... playing with Irving and Love would be pretty appealing.  Irving is 21.  Love is 24.  Those guys have plenty of years left.  But of course the wolves rejected the trade so whatever.  If Noel pans out and they sign oden (who lives up to previous expectations), the Cavs will be a great place for LeBron to land.
