looks like Kidd-Gil averaged about 9ppg last season.  Starting on a bad team, eh I doubt he is going to be high scoring 2 we are looking for.  Is he a developmental backup 3 behind green then?

Who knows what he'll be a few years from now, but 9ppg is pretty decent production for a 19 year old.  He won't be 20 till September.

Guys, you know one reason the Celtics are pursuing Kidd Gilchrist?

I'll tell you why.  It's because Rajon Rondo is our Point Guard.

Rondo will help turn Gilchrist into a big league stud and, down the road,
all-star.

A wing probably needs to be a significantly better perimeter shooter than MKG currently is to be a good fit next to Rondo.

I guess as long as we don't trade the farm for him.  Good young talent is always an asset that can be flipped later.
If we move PP we def have minutes at the 3 that need filled behind green and if green is at the 4 occasionally.

I'd trade Bass and Jet for a bag of Doritos and Corona.

I give you the Doritos, but keep the Corona.

I get Bass and Jet, I need the Corona.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I think MKG is going to end up as a take-it-to the hole player if he can get the ball in the right place to start a drive.  May take a while but the defense makes it worth the wait...

Is there a beer called Jet?  Then you'd have all beer and chips in your post.

Does anybody view MKG as Corey Brewer 2.0?

My guess would be Ainge is looking at MKG as a back up small forward.  Without Pierce they would need one.  Assuming he doesn't come at too high a price. I can't see him as a starter next season.

He excludes mental toughness and is an outstanding leader.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Sheridan is a hack. Did he completely forget we have Jeff at the 3?

I don't think that Danny is enamored with Jeff Green the same way fans around here are.

MKG
9ppg 5.8rebs 1.4asts 26mpg

JG
12.8ppg 3.8rebs 1.6asts 27.8mpg

I'm just saying.

There was absolutely nothing I liked about MKG in any game I saw him play last year

The rumor is that Charlotte plans on drafting Otto Porter and wants to trade MKG for an established big man.

Brandon Bass would actually be a massive improvement over Byron Mullens.

Bass and salary filler for MKG and Ramon Sessions (Rondo insurance on an expiring contract)?  Keep Pierce.  Lee, salary filler, and draft considerations for Paul Millsap.  Sign a back-up center and a three-point shooting wing.
