MKG can play the 2.  I think he would play really well with Green, actually.  Can you imagine having a 6'7" SG and a 6'9" SF?

MKG was my biggest heartbreak from last season's draft.  This might even make up for a recently botched non-basketball related love affair.  Then again, not getting Oladipo will start the suffering all over again...

Maybe Jeff would go in a separate deal for something else.  If we are going for the total rebuild maybe having the younger Kidd Ghilchrist than Green makes sense. 

Or the more I think about about the Celtics were able to play both Pierce and Green together with either a big lineup at the 2 and 3 spot or small at the 3 and 4.  Maybe they could do something similar with Green and Kidd Ghilchrist.

Me too. MKG was an overall no 4 pick in a decent draft last year and I think it's foolish for Charlotte to give up on him so quickly.

I'd love for their loss to be our gain.

I don't see Charlotte dumping MKG for salary relief.

Not sure I see a realistic trade that works that Charlotte would do but, who knows with Jordan. His inability to run a team is out of this world.

Though, I do think MKG could be the best player chosen in last year's draft, eventually. Maybe give up a 2014 draft pick for him. MKG's ceiling has to be higher than anything the C's would draft next year in the 15-20 range(if they bring KG back and make the playoffs my guess is that's where the C's pick would land).

I am not sure we have much that they would want.  Not cap relief and not players.  You don't think they can do better than Bass or Lee?

I think if anything along these lines were to work, it would have to include Rondo and be a fairly big and involved trade.

I haven't tried to Trade Machine this but something like

Rondo/Bass

Kidd-Ghilchrist/Walker/Sessions/etc.??

I am not saying I like this trade, I am just saying that it would need to be something like this to get Kidd-Ghilchrist.
