I'm sure that Danny's course of action has ownership's blessing.
Danny has made some mistakes, but he also delivered us a championship and five years of high-level basketball out of nowhere. That earns a lot of good will.
Don’t enjoy still with glory of 2007-08. Now is 2013. Look at MIAMI HEAT the way of building the team and keeping a great roster level very season. Did they trade Bosh, Wade or key palyers? DID MIAMI sign anonymous players fro China league? See how Pat Riley built the team. The catastrophic work done by DA started in 2010-11. Most important I see a dark future. Similar to Detroit Piston if you assume that KG and PP will go after Doc.
The faith expressed here in a guy whose drafting legend on this blog is a pure fabrication, and whose active player selections are about like his drafting - 50/50 - will provide the humor as this franchise slides into the abyss.
2004-#15 Al Jefferson, best player picked after was Josh Smith at #17. Also drafted an NBA 1st team defender Tony Allen, and Lebrons step dad
2005-#18 Gerlad Green, best players picked after were David Lee (#30)Monta Ellis(2nd rd). The whole league passed on them in the first round.
2006- Got Rondo, probably the best player in the draft(aldridge was also in this draft)
2007-traded Green for Ray Allen, drafted Big baby in 2nd round
2008-#31 pick JR Giddens, best players picked after Pekovic,Chalmers, DeAndre Jordan, Asik. He definitely had a bad draft here .
2009- Didn't have a 1st rd pick, took Lester Hudson with almost the last pick of the draft
2010-#19 Avery Bradley, best player picked after was Lance Stevenson at #40 who had character issues
2011-#25 Drafted JuJuan Johnson. Missed out on Jimmy Butler#30 and Chandler Parsons #38
2012- #20 Sully, probably no better player was selected after Sully
Besides 2008 and 2011, Danny has had very strong draft picking a top 5 PG in the league , a first team all defender(Allen), a 2nd team all defender(Bradley), a 20/10 guy(Jefferson). I give him a pass on the Gerald Green pick because every celtic fan wanted Green at that time and he had huge upside .
