   There's a difference between "the right deal" and a fire sale. Of course everyone on the team's always been available if the price was right, he just wants the Celts to get rid of all of their players in the hopes of losing 60 games a year.

At the moment I don't know if there is a deal out there that would entice KG to drop his no trade clause, possibly around deadline time something will occur, Pierce as I have always thought will move on for a free agent player in a sign and trade scenario.

There were rumors put out there from when the Clippers talks started to die down, saying that KG would have went there even without Rivers. I bet once they trade Pierce, KG expands the list of teams he would waive his no trade clause for.

I am sick that this off-season is going the way it is.  I wanted the band back.  The cap space that could have been had a year or two from now is just too good to pass up.

But, if the trade exception can net us a FA through S&T this off-season, at this point, you have to take it.

Try to then work a three team deal with the Clips and Sacto to bring Cousins to Boston.  Sign Smith with trade exception through a S&T.

I'd roll with Cousins, Smith, Green, SG, Rondo.  That might be pretty good actually.

There are a few things about the supposed cap space we could get.

1. a top flight free agent from another team has never signed here
2. Free agent classes always look good a few years out and dwindle as players resign with their old teams
3.  If we want a top notch guy we would probably have to give up Green or Rondo, which is fine, but I don't se a scenario in which we could have Rondo, Green and max contract guy.

  Pretty worked up in the sense that, as a free agent, he didn't look at offers from other teams and signed a fairly friendly contract with the team.

I could see KG go back to Minnesota and make it to the playoffs.
That would be a nice thing to do to end his career.
