I saw the title and came in to say "no". By the way, while he's still a decent defender, he's not at all athletic.

I never thought it would come to this, but the events of the last several days have made me almost happy to see one of these half-baked trade ideas in "Latest Forum Topics."

Off to the trade checker, people! Let's hear your ideas for seven-team swaps in which we send out the China 3 and get back the #1 and #3 picks in 2013, four #1 picks in 2014, and Kevin Durant!

They don't play the same position, but they're the same level of player. He's much less athletic though, so he's less useful in transition on both ends of the court.

I would love him. He was, at times, the best player on the Lakers team. He's got so much heart.

Great defender too.

If you mean for parts of the occasional game he was the best player on the team, fine. Anything beyond that, not so much.

He sure knew how to step it up when Kobe/Howard were feuding and Nash was benching it up. He went from 7.7/3.4/1.1 last year to 12.4/5.0/1.6 against Father Time. He's got heaert.

Just a few years ago he was scoring 20 a game; he can be our Kevin Martin with defense. (ok bad comparison)

Wrong. Of course they play in the same position.
