Lakers are a world-wide brand. More people know about the Lakers around the world than they do about Clippers.

NBA is an entertainment league and the owners, board of directors, investors and everyone else wants to make money.
That's how it is.

It should be obvious by now that NBA games get rigged all the time and if there is anyone who doesn't believe it, then they are either epicly naive or just refuse to believe life.

Never liked him. Don't like his arrogance.  Don't like his smugness.  I don't necessarily buy into the conspiracy theories either.

If it's rigged, it's probably because Stern thinks it is better to have both teams be competitive rather than have the Clippers as contenders and the Celtics as a non-playoff team that might be in a position to tank.

With this kind of guy, you have to be smarter than him. It sas easy (for a GM who knows the rules) to anticipe his move. Find loopholes, be discreet. Let him fix the hoophole and find another one. Exactly what DA always did in the past. Unfortunately this time, the clippers aren't in the same IQ league. You screw up clippers, you are paying the price and Stern feels very good with himself. You deserves it!
