This whole thing seems to be completely contrary to every thing we have learned about Doc. My image of Doc (that I dont think was fabicated) is a loyal, morally sound guy. A guy who called himself a Celtic when he resigned 3 years ago.

This guy who wants to jump ship to coach this team in LA and is even supposedly contacting Clippers management telling them not to trade Bledsoe is not that Doc.

Anyone else find it very strange that Doc would be telling Clipper's management "not to trade Bledsoe" when trading Bledsoe is the only thing that would bring Doc to LA?

Something here is very weird and I wont believe anything until I hear from Doc or Danny themselves.

I am even more confused about KG. Did he really also give up on the team? I understand that he is loyal to Doc, but is he not loyal to the team?

Thinking about that is awful, especially since I am a huge fan of his.

The only thing I believe is DA received phone call from clippers. Then he told KG he couldn't get the assets to be a contender so he ask KG and Doc to have a last chance of getting a title together at LA. They agree and that's it. The rest is BS manipulative trash talk made from the clippers and journalists.
Blame DA if you want but don't blame Doc or KG.
Personally I don't even blame Danny. He's doing his job. Period.

i think the big pusher behind all this is danny. Danny wants to change this team, he knows we cant compete, might as well move doc to leverage a better trade.

Obviously DA has decided he wants to go in another direction.  He has (guessing) no intention of playing it out another year.

Pierce is likely gone, which means KG will want out.  I guess KG decided he wants to play one more year, but will not do so for the C's without Pierce.

Doc and KG appear to be bound at the hip.  They only want to coach/play together.  Not surprised, as they are good friends.  This is particularly the case with KG.  He's pretty much said in the past, point blank, he will only play for Doc.

Not sure where Pierce falls in this, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up with the both of them as an MLE signing.

THEORY: Doc was scared Danny was going to trade KG and Paul so Doc said "well if youre gonna do that than I wanna go to the Clippers".

Danny then begins to orchestrate a trade to the Clippers while Doc, who doesnt actually want to coach the Clippers, tells Clipper management "dont trade Bledsoe. I want to coach him" knowing full well that the Clippers trading Bledsoe would be the only way that he would end up coaching the Clippers.

Doc created the scenario AND killed it to make Danny think he really wasnt playing around about leaving if a rebuild occurs while also making sure he keeps his guys. Doc is not a creep and I think this theory is more believable than the bizarre rumors about Doc over the last couple days.

Of course there is a plan for Pierce or else KG would have keep his no trade clause.

I think you give Doc too much credit.  What is he an evil mastermind?  You forget the part about fans wanting no part of him after this fiasco.

Things fell into place timing-wise for this to happen.  I think loyalty has little to do with it.  But of course none of us know (and probably never will) the whole story.    Rivers and KG to the Clips is possibly the best thing that could happen to the C's organization right now (presuming DA gets what he wants).  So Danny goes to Doc (and then KG) and says "Doc, I think we have a possible win-win here -- are you open to it?"  ANYONE in Doc's shoes would find this intriguing.  Doc going to LA should absolutely not impact his Boston legacy IMO.
