Pretty crappy deal for Boston . Bledsoe is a role guy...Jordan is average at best. And then there is the real possibility they hire the POS del negro. He is a bum. He is a stiff. I hate him

Please hire Brian shaw

This team would be pretty pathetic with a line up of rondo Bledsoe Jordan green and ??

The two number one picks I hope would be for future draft because this draft sucks

I don't even think they have two first rounders in this draft, do they?

my guess is they would be 2013 pick and 2015

Much rather have 2014 and 2016

Yeah, I want no part of Del Negro. If we could get George Karl though...

But man, I can't wait to see the chip on Rondo's shoulder if this goes down. Everybody just leaving him in Boston and Danny bringing in Bledsoe?

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Don't want Jordan.  He's getting paid $11 million next year, and I don't think he's anything more than a poor man's Tyson Chandler.

I really like Bledsoe, but he's going to get overpaid next summer.  Plus, he and Bradley are very similar players.

Maybe BOS and LAC could find a third team to complete the trade.

Wouldn't we all. If it is '13 and '15, I hope '15 is either unprotected and/or they can roll it over another year.

I'm pretty sure Danny knows this.

'13 and '15 or '14 and '16 just might make or break the deal.

I agree. Getting another pick in 2014 would be in Boston's best interest I think

Too much to ask that Ainge come to his senses or Sterling loses his nerve? If we're headed south either way, I'd much rather Pierce and KG retire Celtics than have to watch our two best players in twenty years win in L.A under our coach. Acquiring a pair of late first round picks for the opportunity to overpay a second tier center during multiple trips to the lottery isn't going to console me any. And that Del Negro's name is being thrown around at all is just bewildering.

Bold prediction if Ainge pulls this off he also ends up with a pink slip within two years.

It's not bold at all. I totally agree with you.

He also said this should be done within the next two days or not at all.

Now I wonder what will happen with Pierce.

Maybe we flip PP and one of the clippers draft picks for Millsap , Jefferson or Josh Smith ?

Probably a more realistic possibility is Pierce to Dallas for Marion and the #13 pick. This would create a trade exception of approximately 6M, which we could then use to sign a FA.

I just doesn't see any positive aspects of this deal. Jordan is just not good. Bledsoe is a bench guy

Then there is a new coach...Boston is setting themselves up for a lot of years of lottery participation

I'd rather go another year with Pp and kg than del negro Bledsoe and Jordan

This is a crap-tastic deal if there ever was.  The onyl good thing that can come from it is the firing of Ainge.

Which will be a very satisfying day for me.
