The two number one picks I hope would be for future draft because this draft sucks

my guess is they would be 2013 pick and 2015

Much rather have 2014 and 2016

Wouldn't we all. If it is '13 and '15, I hope '15 is either unprotected and/or they can roll it over another year.

I'm pretty sure Danny knows this.

'13 and '15 or '14 and '16 just might make or break the deal.

Oh I'm certain he has a better handle on the situation than anyone on this blog, but It's Saturday afternoon and I'm bored.

Well, it looks like this management transaction is going to go smoother than Theo for the bad Chris Carpenter deal, at least. Apple and oranges I guess.....

Do you think we could flip Bledsoe, Jordan, or both for anyone good?

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
I'd hate to see Pierce get left in the dust by Doc and KG.  Hopefully Danny find a way to send all three out in the same package/to the same team.

According to some, KG and Doc. ::) Which would sure make an amazing haul. It's a shame we'll never get them.

If this does happen, I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Ray Allen opt out and sign with LAC. After all, he'll probably get more PT playing behind Crawford than he does behind Wade. Especially if Doc promises him the starting job in order to keep Crawford as their 6th man.

Bledsoe is a back up point guard. Boston would have no shooting guard (lee and terry are worthless) a stiff at center that can't score beyond 2 feet, Jeff green and sully at power forward (beyond underSized)

Then throw in a maybe del negro??? Are you serious? That is an awful team

That's a pretty crappy haul if you ask me.  Unfortunately, I think that's probably the best we'll get.

You keep talking about Bledsoe as a "backup". Do you think he's a backup because he's behind Paul or because of his talent?

FYI...as a starter last season he averaged 14-5-5 with 2.5 spg...is only 23...and is known as one of the best perimeter defenders in the league.

Bledsoe is the target, Jordan is just another contract we will look to get off the books

I think there's mutual interest in DJ and Eric. I'd the C's weren't interested in both, then we could just ask for Butler's expiring with Eric and be done with it.

The Clippers are hesitant to give up Bledsoe, from my understanding. Jordan is worth more than Butler in terms on netting another pick from someone as Butler is just an expiring. The Celtics could flip Jordan to GS for Beirdrins and a pick, for instance, and pick up an expiring and an additional pick. So there is more value there.

12 games is far too small of a sample size. Heck, even Jeff Green started 17 games last year and I don't see anyone thinking he's gonna explode for 20/6/6/1 a whole season.

You can make little to no conclusions with those paltry stats.

I don't think that is an awful team at all.

G - Rondo, Bledsoe, J.Terry
G - A.Bradley, C.Lee
F - J.Green, free agent
F - Sullinger, Bass
C - D.Jordan, free agent

That team could easily go 35-41 wins next season.

Couldn't agree more. Everybody says how he's not a valuable asset because he's  a "backup" and "role player" just because he backed up Chris Paul. When he took over for an injured Paul though, he did a pretty good job

I hope so. That would be a steal. It would likely be captain and Bradley for Gordon though.
