Just say no!!!!!
To DeAndre Jordan
I don't see a better alternative that a team would be willing to give up for kg and Pierce.
My point is, I'd rather have the cap space than the player. Jordan is not a player a rebuilding team should be spending $10m on.
That cap space is useless to us next year. Its not as if we are going to be competing for a championship next year, we are going to be rebuilding. Why not let the athletic 25 year old get a chance to continue to develop with more minutes and a larger role?
If it doesn't work out we can always trade him on to another team, height and size are always at a premium. I'm sure at the deadline we could find a team looking to bolster their front court and give us some assets in return or at the very least some expiring deals. For example theres like a 75% Bogut hurts himself between now and then.
I don't like Jordan's game. I hate that he is useless in the 4th quarter, but I don't see any other excellent options out there. We might as well collect assets.
