I hope Doc stays, and Paul and Kevin right along with him.
I do not understand why you people are so hell bent on keeping guys here who genuinely don't want to be here.
Where did you get the impression that Doc "genuinely" doesn't want to be here?
the idea with this holding out thing is not that Doc wants to be here. Regardless of who's going to be back next year, he should be excited and want to be a part of the Celtics. He's trying to manipulate the situation to be loyal to two players...and with all this smoke, there's going to be fire VERY soon.
There aren't a ton of positive speculations out there about Doc and him wanting to come back. It's about him needing to think or about him not enjoying DA and him wanting a change in status.
You guys can be oblivious if you want. But this is ridiculous. And when I say Ainge needs to man up, I'm saying he's over all of these guys. He's running a zoo right now and he needs to get some things together and stop letting everyone else call the shots. Yes he needs to make great business decisions, but you also don't let some guys try to manipulate your business decisions based on what THEY want.
If DA wants a rebuild, and he's thought that process out and feels like it's best for his organization, then if we're talking LOYALTY, KG/PP/Doc should respect that and act accordingly. Don't try to create a situation based on what you want.
It's the same reason why we hate Deron Williams for getting coaches fired. It's the same reason why we hate Dwight Howard for being a total jerk. They're being babies about things and trying to manipulate situations. It's obvious.
