I think Ben McLemore might have high bust potential.

A little undersized height wise with a weak physique which will make him a really undersized two guard at the NBA level. Hence, worries about his ability to defend his position.

Skilled shooter but questionable shot-creation + one-on-one skills. Then concerns over his mental characteristics with his inconsistency and at times failures to be "the man" at Kansas. His own coach pushing him to be more aggressive. More assertive.

Reads more like a role player than a star in the making.

per36: 13/8/2/1

But if he doesn't develop a mid-range game, he's toast. He needs a jumper.

in terms of draft position....

This is what I was thinking.....if Rudy Gobert goes 22nd and turns out to be a man with incredible length who stinks at basketball, is that a "bust"?

Anyways, I'll say Andrew Bynum will ultimately be responsible for some GM being fired in the not too distant future....

Considering this thread is in the draft board, I'm assuming we're talking about the upcoming draft.  In which case, I nominate Michael Carter-Williams.  Busty bust bust bust.

Victor Oladipo is going to get drafted too high.  I think he'll be a fine NBA player, and his floor is very high, but his ceiling is probably a slightly better version of Courtney Lee.  You want that on your team, but probably not as a top 5 pick.

This. I absolutely agree with you about McLemore. I am surprised some are so high on him.

Eh, even as a #2 overall pick if he averaged those #s for his career he'd have a pretty nice career.
