i have been posting here since the summer of 2010, but have been reading this site for much longer than that.

I have to admit, this sight amazes me.  Lots of good, funny, knowledgeable posters here.  Of all of my favorite sports teams websites, this is the one I visit the most.  Jeff has made this site so welcoming for all.

I enjoyed the days when Edgar and I would flip flop in post count every few months.

Nowadays I'm barely posting at all and Edgar still isn't closing the gap.  Might be time to starting posting in the Ask Edgar thread again.

It would be cool if getting more posts just "unlocked" more choices - so that people could pick a name for their rank, and choose from more players as they progressed, but also keep their old name if they so chose.

This would allow people to keep being, e.g., Pierce forever once they unlocked him.

Also you could give a few choices at each rank.

It would be fun for the first time posters:

I loved that I was the only guy on the blog that was Dave Cowens, my childhood hero along with Hondo, for a while. Then that so-and-so Fafnir had to break 23,000 and ruin it!! >:( >:(      ;D
