Garnett is the dirtiest player in the league and has been for years and may in fact be the dirtiest player the game has ever seen (when accounting for differences in eras).

ridiculous imo.  So many guys deserve your reward more than Kevin.  I don't even see him as dirty.  Old school is a closer fit for Kevin.

Are you saying Wade deserves the dirty label less because he's so blatantly dirty?
Wade is dirty, he just isn't as dirty as KG.

Bleacherreport.  10 Dirtiest players in NBA history (though just those that were active in the 80's and beyond).  KG is 3rd only Laimbeer and Bowen are ahead of him.

This guy has KG 7th all time http://www.hoopsvibe.com/features/breaking-down-the-nba/170205-top-10-dirtiest-nba-players

Here is the NBA players poll released in April 2012 (so last year) - Evans was #1, KG was #2 (by the way I am pretty sure, KG has been in the top 10 every single for at least the last 10 or so years.http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1197618/index.htm

To me, this doesn't pass the eye-test for me in watching the last few years of KG's play.  I think there is a big difference between talking smack (which KG does more than anyone) and trying to hurt another player.  I think KGs inclusion in some of those lists is more for his mouth than his dirty play.

And when did bleacher report become even worth referencing?

All that matters is what we see, not what some hacks and players say.

I don't see KG pushing someone in the back, or tripping them when things don't go his way. However I've seen **** wade do it countless times.

I'm not saying KG is an angel, but he isn't doing things that could injure people on the level or frequency that Wade does.

This!
Case closed.

I could probably do this for the next hour.  If you don't think KG throws elbows, slaps, etc. you just aren't paying attention.

KG is a punk but not a dirty player.  He doesn't try to break ankles or end careers, just looks to announce his presence whenever possible

Wade and Bynum and Artest. those 3 lose their minds and TAKE OUT players. i've never wished injury upon a player, but those 3 are pushing my limits.

KG is a dirty player in the sense that he holds, throws elbows, leans into picks, talks trash, etc. but in reality, that's nothing out of the ordinary. that's why i generally don't consider Dwight (or Shaq) dirty.

I'm betting players care more about the constant moving picks, holds, grabs, and shoves on rebounds than the less frequent but dirtier flying elbow strikes and straight up pouty face takedowns Wade does.

You can see when Wade's going to do something crazy, his body language changes and he starts headhunting.

Great observation about being able to see it coming with Wade....
If S.A. continues to thwart Miami, keep watch!
