Battier
until recently there is no way battier would have made the list, but intentionally going after a guys knee after he's had a serious injury, thats messed up.
if you had asked me a month ago, i would have said david stern, because he is very much a part of the game

I would have said Wade up to this season, but I have to say it is Battier now.  You know it's bad when I get that angry and he's not even playing the Celtics.

Here are two borderline NSFW links to cheer you up next time Battier gets under your skin:

http://www.nba.com/video/channels/playoffs/2009/05/04/nba_20090504_1play_battier.nba/

and this one is Westbrook um....trying to dunk on Battier

http://www.thebiglead.com/index.php/2013/02/14/russell-westbrook-teabagged-shane-battier-but-it-was-called-a-charge-gif/

Remember these for the finals if you get especially angry

A dirty player is someone that hurt you physically and purposely. So KG doesn't fit the criteria.

If you think he's not being physical, I don't know what to tell you.

If you think he's doing it accidentally, I don't know what to tell you.

Well "hurt" in the sense to injure someone.
You know what I meant, don't be so picky.  ;D

The players voted Reggie Evans as the dirtiest player and after watching him play live, I agree. Bot only that, but he's the most annoying type of dirty because he'll flop at the drop.

Reggie Evans is a present-day Laimbeer.  He has very little talent to begin with, and he has to do something to stay in the league.  His NBA-level talent is getting away with dirty play.

Wade definitely.

Everybody says KG is dirty but I really don't see it.

I just think he is very annoying to play against.

He talks to you, gets in your head, intimidates you, talks to himself, has that look like he's gonna kill someone, and he knows how to get good position in the post or anywhere in the court, defends really well, shoots a jumper you can't block even if you have a 50 vertical leap.

So yeah, I can see KG being very annoying to play against, but I don't think he's dirty at all.
Wade on the other had, its blatant, the elbow dislocation, the tackle, the groin kick, breaks a dudes nose in the all star game.
I could go on and on..

You guys don't remember this one?

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Garnett is the dirtiest player in the league and has been for years and may in fact be the dirtiest player the game has ever seen (when accounting for differences in eras).
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

ridiculous imo.  So many guys deserve your reward more than Kevin.  I don't even see him as dirty.  Old school is a closer fit for Kevin.

Are you saying Wade deserves the dirty label less because he's so blatantly dirty?

Wade is dirty, he just isn't as dirty as KG.

Bleacherreport.  10 Dirtiest players in NBA history (though just those that were active in the 80's and beyond).  KG is 3rd only Laimbeer and Bowen are ahead of him.

This guy has KG 7th all time http://www.hoopsvibe.com/features/breaking-down-the-nba/170205-top-10-dirtiest-nba-players

Here is the NBA players poll released in April 2012 (so last year) - Evans was #1, KG was #2 (by the way I am pretty sure, KG has been in the top 10 every single for at least the last 10 or so years.http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1197618/index.htm

So let me get this straight. Because he was selected/voted third, seventh, second, and top top dirtiest player, he's the first dirtiest?
Jeff Green - Top 5 SF

All that matters is what we see, not what some hacks and players say.

I don't see KG pushing someone in the back, or tripping them when things don't go his way. However I've seen Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. wade do it countless times.

I'm not saying KG is an angel, but he isn't doing things that could injure people on the level or frequency that Wade does.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I'm betting players care more about the constant moving picks, holds, grabs, and shoves on rebounds than the less frequent but dirtier flying elbow strikes and straight up pouty face takedowns Wade does.

You can see when Wade's going to do something crazy, his body language changes and he starts headhunting.
