With Houston trying to make a run at D Howard, It's rumored they may be looking to dump some of their young guys. Let's see Danny try to swoop in any pick up T Robinson, T Jones, and take the headache R White off their hands.

There's a good chance  at least one of these guys works out.

Do we have a young big you are willing to trade for him that Houston would want?

Can't make Robinson's salary work if they're not taking back anything in salary (which is presumably the point).  But white and Jones combined work (as does Donatas).

COuldn't they trade Shav/White and T-Will who are all non guaranteed for Thomas Robinson?

No.  Those three combined can only bring back $3.27 mil.  Robinson is a little over $3.3 mil.  White plus jones is $3.1 mil, so that's why they work.

Get Donatas. He's the best of the bunch imo.

If Houston were to sign Dwight, they might be very interested in Sullinger. One of the reasons they're looking to move Robinson (other than cap space) is because he doesn't fit into the Rockets philosophy. Houston wants an offense based around one inside presence surrounded by 4 shooters and Robinson doesn't fit into that equation with Howard or Asik.

We forget that Sullinger isn't just an inside presence, but that he can shoot from the outside. Asik would be perfect for this team as it's constructed (with KG, Pierce, etc.), but unless they wanted a pick or (possibly) Avery, he's out of the price range that we should be willing to pay.

If non-guarantees or this year's 1st or next year's 2nd can't get Robinson or another one of their assets, you move on.

Maybe throw in Jordan Crawford with those unguaranteed contracts. I like Donatas too.

Houston likes Donatas, too.  Why do you think Robinson is the guy being mentioned?  If you want Donatas, take what you think is a fair deal for Robinson and add at least one first-round pick.

Houston really doesn't want Jordan Crawford.  The entire point of the exercise is that Houston is clearing cap room.  Crawford is scheduled to make over $2.1 mil guaranteed next season.  That's not going to help them clear cap room.

Provided that Houston gets Howard we may be able to pull off something like Pierce for Asik and Robinson.

In such a case could we possibly resign Pierce once the Rockets waive him?

No, that loophole has been closed since last season.
