Is it just us (Celtic fans) who overreact this way??? Fire an up and coming coach who got his team to improve over the past few years because he lost to the best player in the game? I feel like it's just us.

Let's just see how well Vogel does when Brian Shaw gets a head coaching gig next year.

That will be TELLING now won't it??

P.S. Sometimes the "brains" on the bench is NOT getting the largest pay check.  See Tibs.

Nickagenta,

I just like to hold coaches accountable to making STUPID decisions and showing me no ability to make in-game adjustments!!!  Saying he should be fired was a little over the top, but I will stand by my statement that Indy will NOT win a championship with Vogel at the helm.

In game coaching is probably about 5% of a coach's job. Tops.

Vogel's players lost this series, not Vogel. You want to know why? because they are not good enough to beat Miami. They just don't have the players.

So, yes, I will agree with your statement that Indy won't win a title with Vogel as coach because I honestly don't believe they have that elite player or players that win championships. George and Hibbert are nice players but not elite and probably only Detroit in 2004 was the only team over the last 30 years or more to win a ring without an elite player.

So chances are your prediction will come true.

Paul George may be a top 5 player in 4-5 years. Kid's 23.

True...or he may not.

But if we go by that, then how good is Durant going to be in 4-5 years? He's only 24.

So George, IMHO, is destined to be one of the best SFs in this league but I am not sure he will ever be elite and so I don't see Indy being really being led to the promised land by George when Melo, KD and Lebron will still be around on teams loaded with talent too.
