Vogel cost Indy this series.  They likely would have won game one if he had NOT sat Hibbert, his only true rim protector, on two key plays late in that game.

Then, he decides to rest Hibbert and George for a key 5-6 minute stretch in the second quarter when the game was being blown open.

Indiana will NOT win a championship under Vogel's leadership.  They need a real coach such as Vinny Del Negro or Lionel Hollins to take that next step.  They don't have the talent to have a mediocre coach lead them to a title as do the Heat.

Really? How about Paul George doesn't play defense like a middle school player and Lebron doesn't get a layup. Vogel is a good coach. The pacers need a PG who can actually handle the ball and pass and they will be very tough to beat.

I don't think it's Vogel's fault that Indy all of a sudden started to turn the ball over like they really wanted Miami to end them.

He did a heck of a job, he atleast deserves the next year.

Yea, fire the only coach that has made Miami look like an ordinary and beatable team just for one or two mistakes.  These are thesame people calling for Doc's head after every losing game just because he couldn't turn a tired and very depleted team into a contender.  Unbelievable

P.S.  Why did he not play Tyler Hansbrough and Gerald Green more???  Their ONLY change to win in Miami was to make it a physical war with Tyler instigating ala Bill Laimbeer IMHO.  That CLEARLY did NOT happen and we witnessed a blowout unfortunately.

No way Vogel is the reason they lost that series.  How are the 15+ turnovers in the 1st half on Vogel?  Indiana just doesn't have the scorers that they need once Miami gets on track and rolling on defense.  Indiana was trying to get the ball into the post, but the Miami def effort was just smothering.  I would say the Pacers need another offensive threat more than they need to get rid of Vogel.

Jason Terry could REALLY help the Pacers' bench!!!!  His veteran leadership would be huge!!

Gerald Green?  Did you watch him play during his limited minutes in the 2nd half?  It is game 7, Vogel was right not to give important minutes to Gerald Green.

I agree trading Vogel for Vinny is a NOT a great swap for the Pacers.

Vinny ONLY won 61% of his games a year ago and 68% this year.

For the record, Doc won 59% and 51% the last two years.
