Im for one am hoping they will package this pick to get in top 5 or a proven player..why?? Cause after seeing alot of mock drafts, I do not want Kelly Olynyk, Gorgui Dieng, Rudy Gobert, Mason Plumlee, Dario Saric, Steven Adams, etc..all these players will not make it in the NBA? Now I know Im going to get blasted for this, lol
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

No blasting from me. If Shabazz or Schroeder are off the board I have no issue with moving the pick. (Despite my wishlist sig lol)

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

I dont think Shabazz will last past 7th or 8th pick...Schroeder should be there at 16

I don't think Shabazz will make it in the NBA down the road.

I think we trade some guys to get the 13 and 16th and then try to move up again. I could see us sending cap relief guys to the Mavs. Shav's and white to name a few. If we cant package those two then we draft there and get size and a backup PG.

When looking at trading the pick, it's easiest to look at who does not have a 1st round pick. All I can think of is Toronto..

I think Adams would be a terrific addition at 16. I think he would be able to play minutes next year because of his athletic ability and coordination and would enable Danny to more easily use Melo in trade packages.

I agree with the trade idea, but I'd rather see them get two picks in the 20s. The talent level in this draft seems very "flat" from 12-30, and we might be able to get the same talent at 25 as at 16. And if we have two picks we have a better shot at having one of them pan out.

Some teams are already said to be looking to move their 1st rounders for financial reasons. I say we should be buyers in the late first round.

I'm not as sold as you seem to be on the top 5 guys, this draft is pretty thin up there.

Tony Mitchell is a guy to keep an eye, he has some talent. Also like Schroeder, he is there at 16.   If they trade the pick, I would be that disappointed either...

No we shouldn't trade our pick for few reasons. First DA needs assets for future trade so drafting a project with huge upside is realistic and possible at 16. Second , yes this is weaker draft but someone will slip from the top 10. Sullinger was expected to go higher than 21 remember? 16 is pretty high and i'm telling you we will get a good player on this draft.

There's a reason why Toronto traded their pick in the first place.  They don't want any more rookies.

I'm confident we will get a good player at 16. I think Ainge is a great evaluator of talent, and can land another good player or two if we buy a late 1st and/or 2nd rounder from teams looking to cash out of the draft. Basically the way we grabbed Rondo from the Suns.

He intrigues me from what I know about him. I'm not expecting much but if Danny took a flyer on somebody in the 2nd round I wouldn't mind him.

Kabongo didn't even show up in the college level. He's one guy I'd really try to avoid.

As for trading the 16th? If we are trading up then sure. If it's trading up to atleast land Alex Len or Shabazz. If we won't be able to land them, I don't see a reason to trade the 16th pick. There could be a Nikola Vucevic in who's going to left for us (Adams, Dieng, Gobert and to stretch it Mike Muscala or Brandon Davies).
