Gets New York some cap space, and a young guard, gets Boston a big that can probably hold our front court together the 15-20 minutes KG is sitting in the regular season. According to hoops hype He's an "Outstanding defensive player... Excellent shot blocker coming from the weak side... Great rebounding skills... Able to hit the occasional mid-range shot... Not a lot of low-post moves... Will not get many touches... Will not complain about it."  I wouldn't pass on  that.

Im not sure Camby is still capable of giving 15-20 mpg for a season.  Even if he was I don't think this is the type of player the celtics should be targeting

I think Camby's contract has already provent to be a very bad deal for the Knicks. They'd love to get rid of it I'd imagine.

Camby hardly played at all this year, was a non-factor in the post season and is signed for two more years at $4M per. he might have been hurt, but if he wasn't it is fork in the back time for him.

I know many of us wanted him last summer, but it seems like it's best to stay away. Maybe the Knicks just misused him? I don't know.

We're no longer good enough to go the "add a savvy over-the-hill veteran" route.

Yeah. While Crawford seems like trade fodder to me, I'd hold out for something better.

TP.  What the heck do we want with Camby at this stage (both his stage and the Celts stage).

JET for Camby and I am jumping for joy. He might be able to give us 12 minutes a game.
