I wish because most of those guys on our team aren't good, at all.

Green is inconsistent, Bradley literally disappeared in the playoffs, Lee sucks, Sullinger was out of shape and Bass is undersized and inconsistent.

It be great if those guys could get us Dirk Nowitzki because I would make that deal in a heartbeat, but they probably couldn't even get us Dirk Diggler.

Bradlry never LITERALLY disappeared. I could see him the whole time.

Sorry just a pet peeve of mine.
ha ha.  TP.  And yes, I am bothered by those things too.  Most of all, the fact that many posters don't know the difference between lose and loose.

The use of "literally disappeared" is actually correct in the basketball sense. Bradley was atrocious in the Knicks series until it was over in the fourth quarter of game 6.

It would appear that someone just wants to get after someone on this issue, because the original post in no way represents a grammatical mistake.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

If you want to get technical "literally disappeared" implies a total non-factor. Some of those entry passes were really helpful to the Knicks.

not enough to get a max guy, but enough to get a really solid player. we actually have a lot of chips (aka good role players) like Lee, Terry, Bradley, Green, Sully and Bass that in my opinion we should trade some away.

the problem with having too much depth is that they can't be played all at once. the game is 5 on 5, not 8 on 8 (though sometimes it feels like 8 on 5). you will likely become a good regular season team but when the playoffs roll around, the rotations shorten and the better players play longer minutes.

We can offer a worse package than Houston, which is likely why we'll get a guy worse than Harden (which is understandable as well). Derrick Favors was a good suggestion.

So, what kind of chips are we talking here?

Humpty Dumpty
Lays
Ruffles

Or the gold standard, Cape Cod

I'm sorry guys.  Pringles for the win!
I am also partial to Tostitos with a touch of lime for party occasions!

Unfortunately there is no Harden level talent to be got.  Danny Ainge should have pushed harder for Harden over Green when he traded Perkins.  Our team would look entirely different if that trade had been made instead.

Um, no.  Disappear means: 1.Cease to be visible.
2.Cease to exist.

When you say someone disappeared in a basketball since, you ARE using the term in a figurative sense, not a literally since.

But nice try.
