If Jeff Whitey is available, he's the guy.

I would.love to move up though, even if it means trading Bradley or Bass or Sully so we can pick Shabbaz Muhammad.

Everything you said lol I would have no problem walking away with Whitey but man does Shabazz interest me. He has obvious flaws but there's a ton to like about this kid. My realistic dream scenario is Danny moves up and nabs this kid.

He sure has red flags but out of everyone in this draft class he has the most killer instinct and competitiveness. His flaws can be fixed, especially in a locker room like and coaching staff like us.

And the good thing about it, even if he does not pan out, we can still get value for him as his upside is great. Good athlete, scoring instincts.

I'd love for Shabazz to be playing for us. He can be our next Paul Pierce.

I'm really glad somebody else on here is as high on him as I am. Thought I might get ripped for being such a big fan of him in green.

Offensively, he's the whole package. Can shoot spotting up, off the dribble, off the screen. He is a very good post player and attacks the basket in an angry fashion I love to watch. He's an excellent offensive rebounder and gets to the free throw line at a high rate. You never have to worry about this kids motor or effort.

People will point to the fact that he averaged less than one assist a game and that's an understandable concern but like you said, that can be fixed. The more I read about him the more I like. I think he may deserve his own thread to call out the Shabazz supporters/haters lol

He still needs some work on his offense. He relies on the left hand too much. He also relies too much on those one handed tear drops instead of finishing strong, which he can since he's burly and big and strong. His post work is great, he can punish small defenders.

Jump shot is improving (according to scouts). The assists is not an issue. He's a scorer, while he does need to learn to pass out when trapped (that's the concern) I'm not concerned with his assists.

His commitment to playing defense is his biggest red flags. Sometimes he sleeps, but has shown that he can defend at time.

I want him playing for us. His flaws can be fixed. His upside is sky high. Scoring won't be a problem.

Nice scouting report Yoki lol

Not to mention the dude never turns the ball over even with all his touches.

The real question is what would we have to give up? Not sure I'd be excited to trade Bradley but if Shabazz falls to Minnesota at 9 could a package of Courtney Lee or Crawford plus our 16th get it done? I think that's reasonable considering they're only dropping back 7 spots.

Thank you Pac 12 network.

That's the key. Bradley may hold some value but may not be even enough. I assume Shabazz's stock will rise a bit after the workouts, so we are looking at 5-10. I think we can still move up with Bradley, 16th maybe a future pick to get him.

Man that seems high to have a team move back 7 spots but supply and demand I suppose
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I'm not sure Danny gives up Sully or Bradley to get Shabazz. Tough call. I probably give up Bradley + our 16th to get him though.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
