Doc is a far coach ,  but a players coach and runs a pretty happy ship.
The vets are happy, i am not sure about the rest of the group.

I can't really complain since I'm not in his position and not around the players on a daily basis, but a few of my observations are that:

1. He doesn't get the most out the players he have. We know the rotations were going to be short in the playoffs, but some of the new guys could have gotten some burn, especially the last couple of weeks of the season.

2. Has a favoritism for some of the players. It "seems" like he openly chews certain players for making mistakes and put them in the dog house, but others he'd let play through the mistakes.

But like I said, I'm not a coach and I'm not in his position on a daily basis.

The coach we should have kept is working for the Chicago Bulls...  What Thibs has done with that team is amazing.

I'm tired of Doc...  His inconsistency with regard to minutes and roles is appalling to me.  If he goes, he goes.  He's better sitting behind a microphone than he is coaching anymore.  Even with Rondo this team was lousy.  He makes statements about rebounding being overrated.

I'd rather see a coach come in with a wide-open offense - no more of this watching PP dribbling the air out of the ball.  Spread the floor and run.  Doc will NEVER get this group to respond to that because Doc himself has become the old dog with no new tricks...

I want my vets who happen to be our best players happy. The bench scrubs can be replaced if they're now happy seeing how bad most of them are anyway.

they're bad because Doc won't play them and develop them.
I remember when Paul George was fair.
I remember when Nate Robinson was a scrub.
I remember when JR Smith was a nutcase.

Took a good coach to develop them and not just sit them on the bench.

JR Smith is still an idiot. I'm hoping for a train wreck as Woodson loosens the leash.

Nate was salary filler. It's not Doc's fault he was traded.

Sullinger looked like a complete defensive liability at the start of the season. He did the right things and was rewarded.

A Courtney Lee who appears to have suffered an injury to the ego, Jordan Crawford who's busy trash talking to Lala Anthony...Doc trusted the Jet and it paid off.

I would have sat Bass. Now we know this guy can defend Carmelo.

TA, Perk, Big Baby...and most of all Rondo were all developed by Doc.

This season was just completely riddled with key injuries for us. Not everyone can be thrown into the rotation and succeed.

Doc took us to the eastern conference finals last year with Steimsma, Pietrus, and Dooling as our top bench.  Thibs couldn't even get out of the first round.

I would like to have what these Doc haters are sipping on, seriously.  Ignorance has been running rampart around here recently

Doc is a very good coach and played a very big role in Boston winning a title and the other great playoff runs of the last few years.

However, there are PLENTY of coaches who could've won and won a lot with the talent Doc has had since KG arrived.

Yea...you mean just like the Lakers won so much with so much talent they had this season with Mike Brown and D'Anthony as coaches?  Yea no doubt. I get what you're saying

*palm face, smh*

Do you see what Thibs is doing with the Bulls?
Overachieve versus a LeBron led team in the playoffs? Haven't we done that for the past 4 years?

Do you know that the Warriors are up on the Spurs right now?
And just blew a 15 point lead with only 3 minutes left in the fourth quarter...sound familiar?

Have you seen what Frank Vogel has done with his group?
Getting them past the Atlanta Hawks in the first round? Congrats, I guess.

If at the beginning of the season, someone would have tell us the Knicks will score less than 90 points during the play off against Boston. Everybody would have said 4-0 or 4-1 win for Boston. So what's going on here. What are the excuses on the offense event? You will blame the players or maybe DA this time? But never Doc? Come on guys...

pretty sure we only overachieved last year with a completely different squad. for starters, there was a Rondo and a Ray Allen. Year before that we got bounced in the 2nd round by the Heatles...we were down 0-2 before the elbow thing right? I don't recall.

Warriors blew a 15 point lead, but at least they had one. Also, they're in the 2nd round and we aren't.

Frank Vogel has turned a bunch of people no-one knows into a contender. #3 in the East is nothing to sneeze at. Stealing game 1 against the Knicks (who beat us, before you claim that they suck) But I'm sure you want to make everything out to be not as serious as it seems. Or whatever.

The knicks are a joke on this playoff. During the season they share the ball, the threat was everywhere and they were a serious contender. Now look at those poor iso plays. It's pathetic and painful to watch.
Pacers took advantage of their size, dominate on the (so called) "overrated rebounds" and won the game. Not a steal at all. A well deserved win.
Bulls without there best 2 offensive players are still there and won 1st game at Miami.
No excuses for Boston, specially when you have KG, PP and JG as scorer. The offense system or coaching is not good at all and it's not new.
