I think if they come back it would be wise to announce that they are retiring at seasons end ala Ray Lewis
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Without PP and KG this team will fight between 12-15 place in East.

People talk very easy to rebuild, but it's complicated and it's a process. As I've always said, Pierce and KG just need good pieces, with Rondo averaging healthy and Green 15/20 pp. point.
KG year after year has said that he needs help, and no, he needs a strong center, Ainge not correct in their decisions, not Andersen, not K-Martin (they were avalaibles as FA).
Garnett & Pierce never had a great team, but they were younger and won in 2008 and finals in 2010, also had good parts, Sheed, Posey, House, Nate ... now they are older and can not play 40 minutes,Ainge has not built a good roster and PP & KG without help year after year.
I would trade to Lee, Crawford, Bass, Bradley, these players are not fit to play for Celtics, sorry. Celtics need quality players.

You know you accidentally threw Bradley's name in there, right?

My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

I think the window to trade Pierce and KG have also closed.

I think we keep them because we need to give the team an honest legit chance to play with their full healthy roster of guys.

The last 3rd of this regular season playing with the China experiment was admirable and somewhat fun....but that's not what championship teams envision a season playing out.
