How do you score 17 points in two and a half minutes? Incredible.

The 2010 run might have been the worst thing for this franchise.  If they hadn't made the run, the team was going to be torn apart.  Instead, not only was the core kept together but their weaknesses were dismissed as not to serious.  Don't rebound?  Doesn't matter, they have to the Finals.  Don't offensive rebound?  Doesn't matter, they got the Finals?  Don't score efficiently, don't care about the regular season?  Doesn't matter, they got to the Finals.

The Spurs value rest in the regular season but at least they dominate it every season.  Doc's philosophy since 2010 is: rest above everything else because we're prime time playoff performers!

That was an offensive foul by Melo. Lowered the shoulder.

I'm fine with this if this is our last game.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
