Nice RT @AdamZagoria: J.R. Smith refused to recognize Jason Terry's name and said he didn't know who he was #Knicks

Ohh...This is going to be good tomorrow..I like that kind of animosity...Can't wait to hear Jet's response..better yet I can't wait to SEE his response  :D

Edit:

He has more to say when asked about the series being over:

Quote
"Oh yeah, it would've been over," Smith said after Tuesday's practice. "I'd have been playing golf today."

Quote
Asked about Terry on Tuesday, Smith said, "Who? I don't even know who that is."

Celtics PLEASE PUT UP SOME FIGHT! Even if it's just for 1 game. They are REALLY feeling themselves.

Yes! I want him to have a game like he did when he shot that 3 over Lebron in the Finals..He does A LOT of talking, now he's given an opportunity to act on it (especially since it seems like the Knicks are gunning for him..Kenyon with his statement and JR not even acknowledging him)

They must have really wanted that sweep..lol

to be fair, before overtime of game 4 i wouldn't have blamed anybody for having forgotten that Jason Terry existed.  i was pretty convinced the guy on our bench was an imposter.

I hope the Knicks keep running their mouths to fuel the fire. JET talks A TON but has shown in the past that he can back it up in the clutch.

It seems that we can't get ourselves started, but the Knicks insist on poking and prodding until we do. That's fine with me.

I love this.

I kind of wonder why lots of NBA players pretend to forget stuff. KG not remembering Ray, Craw not remembering the Wiz,  JR not remembering JET. Obviously it's a sign of animosity but I find it puzzlingly childish yet hilarious. ;D

I love this series.

So , since game 3 , some of Terry's contributions ...

- Got JR Smith thrown out of Game 3
- Got JR Smith suspended for Game 4
- Got in Kenyon Martin's head before game 4
- Terry comes up with 9 clutch points in OT of Game 4

Now Jr Smith and Kenyon Martin are whining . Why would Smith even be mad at Terry ? The moron should be mad at himself , no one's fault , but his own for that elbow.

If we come back and win this series , Terry has , and will be a big part of it .

That puzzles me the most..lol..it's like dude YOU threw your elbow in front of the ref...I just hope it ends with and epic win so they can shut their mouths

Amare with his "We're ending it Wed comment", Kenyon with his "Dress like it's a funeral", Melo "They're fighting for dear life", and JR with his "Jason Terry Who?"..would love for them to eat those words.

I'm just glad we didn't get swept. I would love to win, but I have no confidence in our ability to play the 48 minutes we need to play to win this game.

I just hate that were losing to this team. I don't believe NY is a contender. I think they're overrated and are in truth no better then a 5th seed.

I believe had Bynum, Rondo, Rose, and Granger all played a full season this past year that Boston, Chicago, Indiana, and possibly Philly all would have had better regular season records.

I would love that too, though even if the Knicks finish off Boston at some point this series, it's not like New York would have much to brag about—they'll have beaten a team whose most important players are either old or missing, and then, if they make it far enough, they'll get their butts handed to them on a silver platter by the Heat, and all they'll be left with is a division banner. Whoopee!  ;D

Ohhh please turn into the J.R. Smith we know and love. The one that tries and beats teams himself and chucks 3's. I want this series to go back to Boston sooo bad! Hopefully this gets JET going like it did in the finals when he said Lebron couldn't guard him.

Yeah, and if Rondo was playing these clowns would have had no answer for him and most likely been on the verge of a sweep.

That's what I'm saying..I don't think they'd sweep the Knicks, but I think the series would be even. They have A TON of confidence right now and talking real loose.

Reading this, it seems to me like Terry said something to get into Smith's head. Terry has always been known as one of the better trash talkers. For him to get under Smith's skin during a game in which Jet's team is about to go down 3-0 is pretty impressive.

Hopefully JR is rusty and misses all the difficult shots he has been taking. Between him and Melo the Knicks have to take and make the most bad shots in the league.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
