Reading this, it seems to me like Terry said something to get into Smith's head. Terry has always been known as one of the better trash talkers. For him to get under Smith's skin during a game in which Jet's team is about to go down 3-0 is pretty impressive.

Hopefully JR is rusty and misses all the difficult shots he has been taking. Between him and Melo the Knicks have to take and make the most bad shots in the league.

I think Kidd alluded to fact that Jet was getting under Jr's skin in Game 3..I hope it does impact Jr's game (negatively) and they lose..then the entire team punches a fire extinguisher  ;D

figure Jet is getting in JR's head ,  this is how you beat the Knicks ....they aren't very smart.

KG needs to talk it up big time,  Pierce too ,  Get them upset , so they won't play smoothly.

Love to see Smith and Carmelo tossed out of the game again.

Come on C's GET IN THEIR HEADS .....

so is there any past animosity between Smith and Jet from the Denver / Dallas days??  I didn't follow either team very much.

Among league circles, JET isn't liked very much.

He's not liked at all.

He isn't exactly the guy who'd give an opponent a hand...

The guys that play with him love him and the coaches speak highly of him, that's all that really matters.

Well obviously, he's like KG. Teammates love him.

Doesn't matter what other players think, but other players don't really like him. Definitely not as liked as Tim Duncan, per se.

JR Smith asked what if he had played game 4

"Oh yeah, it would've been over," Smith said after Tuesday's practice. "I'd have been playing golf today."

can someone explain how much more idiotic this guy is? You could of probably won game 5 silently, but now you have to open your mouth.

This reminds me of the idiot crap Luongo, Bieksa said a few years ago, woke up the Bruins and lost the series they should of won.

I hope this fires the Celtics up, we play super tight basketball and beat the knicks. Especially it would be amazing to make JR Smith eat it, in his mouth. The guy will never change

If the Celtics are hopelessly down, I wouldn't mind someone going the full Bynum on JR Smith in retribution.
